Oh, COME ON Florida!!!

A key deer was discovered with a Doritos bag over it’s head on Saturday by a Monroe County sheriff’s deputy.  The deputy was able to remove the bag and the deer must have appreciated the help, since Monroe County Sheriffs Department spokesperson Becky Herrin states that the deer did not put up a struggle with the deputy.

Key deer are a species threatened by development, non-native species such as pythons, and hurricanes.

This is a friendly reminder to help keep Florida clean and animals safe by properly disposing if trash.
