Delusional Bachmann claims to have “destroyed” liberals with her superior logic

As she nears the end of her tenure in Congress, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) reflected back on her adversarial relationship with liberals.

“Well, telling the truth bothers them,” Bachmann said. “They don’t like to have the truth told about them, and that’s really what it is. I didn’t fear the left. I decided to take them on in the arena of ideas by attacking their false premises and their false narratives.”

Bachmann told World Net Daily, which referred to her as a “GOP legend” in the headline (HAHAHA!), that she had become a media target because she had basically outsmarted her liberal foes.
“That’s the best way to defeat them, by the way — defeat them with evidence and defeat them with their false premises, and I did that,” she said.

As Right Wing Watch noted, Bachmann was so noted for her false claims that the chief fact checker for the Associated Press established a “self-imposed Michele Bachmann quota,” and Politifact found the Minnesota Republican had the worst record for accuracy by far of any 2012 presidential candidate.

“I took them on, and their agenda, and I went to the heart of whatever it was they wanted to advance, and tried to take it apart through evidence-based arguments, and they don’t like that,” Bachmann said. “When the left argues, they argue from emotionalism.”

She blamed liberals for driving Republican women away from seeking political office.

“The Republican Party always gets a bad rap because there are not as many women that are in elective office, but it’s a tough business,” Bachmann said. “It is public humiliation, public ridicule, constant criticism when you’re in public office – if you take on the left.”

Did You Hear The One About The Beer Bong Hitting Fleet Farm Exec\GOP House Candidate

image

Fleet Farm executive and House candidate Stewart Mills may be in his early forties and dreaming of being a member of Congress, but he parties like a long haired hockey playing frat boy!!

In the photos, which were obtained by City Pages, Mills is shown guzzling from a beer bong and licking the lips of a woman who isn’t his wife. According to City Pages, the beer bong photos were posted on his wife’s Facebook page in 2009.

The photo of him licking the other woman was taken at a 2008 Christmas party and was “still publicly viewable on Facebook” when City Pages posted it, but it has since been taken down. It’s unclear who posted the photo on Facebook.

Mills, who is the likely challenger next year to Rep. Rick Nolan (D-MN) in Minnesota’s Eighth Congressional District, said in a statement that it’s “no secret that in the past I’ve let my hair down to have fun with family and friends.”

“My wife and I have had many lighthearted moments in our lives but right now I am focused on my Congressional campaign and the disastrous effects of our overreaching government and sky high unemployment in the north eastern Minnesota,” he said in the statement.

Don’t worry, Stewart… You will have plenty of time to hit the beer bong after you lose the election next November!

The GOP needs to GET OVER IT: The ACA is here to stay

However you slice it, the last time this nation voted, more people voted for the party of Obamacare. Yet because the GOPers control a little more than one half of one body of Congress (or, put it this way, a bit more than one-half of one-third of the legislative-executive branches of the government), their extremists believe they are entitled to take hostages to eviscerate a law that was previously passed by Congress, signed by the president, and okayed by a conservative-led Supreme Court.

NSA Surveillance Ending Amendment Killed… BY REPUBLICANS!

Bill:H.R. 2397: Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2014

Amendment:H.Amdt. 413 (Amash) to H.R. 2397: To end authority for the blanket collection of records under the Patriot Act. It would also bar the NSA and other agencies from using Section 215 of the Patriot Act to collect records, including telephone call records…

The amendment failed.  The most interesting part of the failure to pass the amendment is the following… Make sure you are sitting down…  Also, make sure you mouth is empty so you don’t spit out anything all over your monitor, etc…  Its gonna blow your mind…  Ready…  ….

62 percent of the defeating vote was made up of Republicans… Yes, members of the party outraged over “Obama tapping our phones” were the MAJORITY of those who voted AGAINST repealing the ability to perform these “taps”…

Yes… You read that correctly….

The Republican Party bitches about how Barack Obama is so awful because of the ‎NSA‬ phone surveillance‬ that was recently revealed, and then they are the majority voting NO to stop it. What a bunch of frauds.
